Hello, I’m Andrew
Ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to help people with their money. Even though i had no idea what it truly meant at the time, financial security was something I wanted to help others achieve. When I first began searching for internships and jobs during college, it seemed the only “financial advisors” that would show up to the career fairs were people who would give me a packet and ask me to fill it with contact information for 25 names of friends and family. Because of this, i was turned away from the industry as I thought this was the only channel available for me to help others.
Putting my dreams aside, I applied to one of JPMorgan Chase’s rotational analyst programs where i figured working for one of the biggest banks in the world would be a great place to start my professional career. After 2 years in the rotational program, I moved into a Portfolio Management position within the Private Bank, where I spent another 2 years. In this role I was responsible for the day to day management of a multi billion dollar list of accounts across 4 metro areas for High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients of the bank. On paper, this was my dream corporate job. I was trading accounts daily, helping teams create portfolios taking into consideration current holdings and overall strategy, and had a front row seat within one of the largest asset managers on the planet. But i still was not satisfied, as I knew working with a financial advisor should incorporate more services than just investments and market commentary. I wanted to be able to help clients with a larger list of services, where I was able to to provide maximum value to their financial situation.
I left JPMorgan in 2025 to join a solo advisor that specialized in providing a holistic financial plan that included investments, planning, tax preparation, insurance solutions, and more. After some time there I decided it was time for me to make my own mark and start AMD Wealth Management.
I started this business with a simple goal: help clients achieve their financial goals by providing the best solutions for them. I never wanted to be in a situation where a sales quota, a new shiny product, or an unnecessary solution was pushed onto the client. And that’s exactly what AMD Wealth Management can avoid. By getting paid strictly for advice, I do not receive compensation from any other party, so I can always focus on delivering the best advice to fit your specific needs. I take great pride in the trust I receive from clients to manage their life savings, and it is not a task I take lightly.
Together, using our 6 step AMD Process, we will take you through a structured planning method that gets to know you, your financial “why”, your goals, my recommendations on how to achieve them, and ongoing accountability meetings if desired.
